Ungdomskulen are a classic power trio from Bergen, Norway, moving effortlessly through rock’s many shapes and shades. Their sound can be heavy one moment and weightless the next; sharp, melodic, abrasive and playful — yet always unmistakably their own.
Built around Kristian Jan Erik Stockhaus on guitar and vocals, Frode Flatland on bass, and Øyvind Solheim on drums, the band has spent years refining a muscular, exploratory approach to rock. Their tightly wound, high-energy live shows have been honed everywhere from local community halls to clubs in New York City, giving the trio a rare ability to make adventurous music feel immediate and physical.
