The Clumps will play at Tundra and Lightning Festival Saturday October 4th 2025!
The Stavanger-based band The Clumps has quickly become an underground powerhouse on the Norwegian rock scene. With their unique blend of alternative rock, grunge and elements of post-grunge and shoegaze, they have created a sound that is both raw and refreshing. But with strong associations with sweaty club scenes in the early nineties. So nostalgia and future in beautiful union. Their album, CITIZENS, is a tribute to the 90s with great songs that really stick.
The Clumps started as a friendship between four musical souls, but have developed into one of Norway's most promising new bands. They have already won the Eggstock Festival 2024, which paved the way for invitations to several major festivals. P3 Urørt has shined on the band, and three of their songs are recommended on the channel, including the critically acclaimed single "Citizens". NRK P3 describes them as "the band you didn't know you needed", highlighting how intense, yet enjoyable, their music is.
Live, The Clumps are an explosion of energy. Whether it's at a packed Revolver basement during by:Larm or in front of an enthusiastic audience at Folken in Stavanger, they give it their all – and then some.
