Sklitakling is bringing their high-energy, politically charged punk to Tundra and Lightning Festival on October 3rd, 2025!
The Bergen-based punk band Sklitakling has a lot to say! They play energetic and driving punk, with elements and undertones from other genres. With a wide and varied sound, the band kicks hard, fuzzing and creating noise with high intensity! They sing in Norwegian, and their lyrics often include political themes with a clear socially critical perspective.
In December 2023, Sklitakling released their debut album, which received positive reviews from outlets such as Klassekampen, Dagsavisen, VG, Ballade, and Bergens Tidende, in addition to gaining international attention. Following the release, the band was contacted by several promoters and booked for numerous festivals and venues, including Norway's largest festival, Tons of Rock. They also played their first concerts outside of Norway, in Denmark and France.
Currently, Sklitakling is in the studio recording their second album, set to release in the fall of 2025. On this new album, the band will take their distinctive and recognizable sound even further.
