MORAX is set to unleash its heavy metal fury at Tundra and Lightning on Friday, October 3rd!
MORAX is a one-man heavy metal band from Fusa, Norway, founded in 2023 by Remi A. Nygård. Rooted in the darker side of the genre, MORAX draws inspiration from bands like Mercyful Fate, Satan and Black Sabbath. The debut EP, Rites and Curses, was released by High Roller Records in the fall of 2023. Despite being an unknown name before its release, the EP gained significant underground attention and received strong reviews. Rites and Curses was even named Fenriz’s favorite release of 2023 in Deaf Forever Magazine and EP of the Year by Metallurgi.org.
On February 21, 2025, MORAX released its debut full-length album, The Amulet, once again through High Roller Records. With this release, the band has dived deep into the many facets of the genre, delivering 40 minutes of pure, devilish heavy metal in all its forms.
